Looking to do Research Project on Machine

I was wondering if anyone who owns either the Carvewright or the Compucarve in the Chicagoland area would be willing to demo the machine for me. I'm looking at ideas for my dremel tool and want to see how feasible it would be to create a very simple version of the machine as an attachment.

I'm just in the early idea stage, and am trying to see if I can't get a better look at how the machine works.

works just like a printer except the print head also goes up and down also as the computer tells it. you could look at the parts diagrams to get a better idea if no one is close.
