Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but the Gallery items, images - MPC and PTN's, I keep them on my hard drive as a PDF file. The file might be too big to post???

Just open and left click and this should download.

Albums can be found by going to the "Community" link in the upper left hand corner. Click, then select "Albums".

The "My Albums" section evidently had a Recently Added time stamp. I extended the # of days to 365 and now they are back! When they disappear a year from today, someone help me remember this is the reason why...

That's Cool but where did the Photo Gallery go?

The Gallery was replaced by the IDEAS section of our new website. As far as the photos being replaced, I don't know. I might at some point be able to get in there to the images and see if I can't create albums with them.

I went to up-load an additional Album in "My Albums" on the Forum last night and got this Message
Before I could choose, or make a selection of any pictures, when I tried to load the photos to it. ---

The resolution of your image is higher than necessary. Standard resolution of a graphic to be used on the web for the PC is 96 dpi & 72 dpi for MAC. Digital photographs are generally much higher than necessary for the web. High resolution images take up web space on the server and take a longer time loading onto your screen. Try lowering it.

That was the message I got before I choose any Pictures --- to upload
This is a screen shot of a sample of the size of the Jepg photos I was going to load in to a New Album

Not very large at all, about the same size or smaller than the photos in my other Albums

I found the problem. You had hit the maximum number of photos that could be added to the "My Album" section. I increased it.

I just re-tried it several times ---no go
I signed out -- shut down the pc, rebooted, Signed back in --still no go?
I get that message as soon as I click on up-load pictures --I get no farther than that, no Menu to choose pictures

Max photos I've been loading per Album is 50

It appears you may have at least one photo in that file that is too big. Look at all of them in that directory to see.

Jeez Louise! In your career (haha) with CW, you have posted over 5000 attachments and are taking up 333 M of space! Let me see what I can do. See if there is any "old" stuff you can get rid of.

No, I don't mean get rid of posts, I mean attachments. Maybe I can find duplicate attachments from old posts. Meaning you posted the same file or something in multiple posts.

Ah! --- Gotta be a ton of those,
I found no scense in re-taking photos or re-drawing patterns
that already were in my files, that could or needed to be re-posted for new carvers.

Lynn, Thank You So much for taking the time to look into the problem I really wanted to share
as many “Photos of Project Ideas” in the Albums as I could think of with New and Fellow Carvers.

There should be a spot to go to then to see all the Member Albums not just the most recent updated ones.
right now we need to search every members name to see if they have an "album"

No...I changed the most recently updated "time frame" to 365 days. They are all there. Let me see if I can change the description.

I do see a drop in the MB's in vBulletin Message from 11.67MB to 8.75MB

I thought I remembered a few other Nice Albums posted by folks like LRW

"Recently Updated Albums" label looks like I would have to break into the code. It's not changing today, folks....need power from above or someone with more power than I possess to get that done! I more than doubled the amount of space, so why is one Album, bigger than everything else you have? I'm scratching my head on this one. I tinkered a little more. Try it now. We may have to do some house cleaning next week.

Did u add a bunch of photos to the folder on ur computer that u upload pictures from prior to this problem?

Each of my Albums has 50 Photos -- the same number as the one I'm trying to up-load today,
they each have their own Folder

When I said folder I didn't mean ur album. I meant the folder on ur computer that u save digital photos to. Like under"My Pictures".

Bingo, that One did it.

It's 11:10 pm and I just finished some paper work, Checked the Thread one more time before calling it a night.
I saw you last post from about an hour ago, and gave it a try, the select picture option popped up --- Perfect --- loaded all 50 photos
