I have a friend who sent me a file called IGES. Has anyone ever used this type of file. I have AutoDesk Inventor 2009 but it does not open it.
I'm thinking he (my friend) needs to send me the DXF file, if he does is there anyone who can help me to see if our machine can carve this project for him? He owns a mold shop and was asking me what kind of tolerance our machines can hold, does anyone know this answer? Any help would sure help me out assisting this project. Thanks

IGES is another "standard" CAD interchange file format. Autocad should be able to import the file. (not open, but import)
