I have had 2 cases where I had Cropped Text and thought there was really nothing to do about it. Found the fix today...

The Last picture is text in Aerial black to see the letters in upper and lower case.

The First picture shows a cropped text with the first J not having as long of a tail as the second J.....

The Second picture is the same text but this time I put a space bar or space before the text.
Now you can see the tail on the first J.

I have been living with the cropped tail in the first M in Masthope and usually cut it in with a knife.

Pictures 4 and 3 show before and after the added space.....

Thought I would share....

The order of the pictures came out different than I thought writing the post...

I discovered this when I was designing a tic tac toe board. I noticed that it only happens with certain fonts. Being new I figured that this was common knowledge so I didn't think to mention it to anyone.

Thanks AL,

That's another good "Fix~Tip" to add to our CW Designer Tool Kit! http://forum.carvewright.com/images/icons/icon14.gif

I have had this same problem in the past. I was not sure of the cause, if I remember correctly I changed the font family to get ride of the problem.

So this is good to know, thanks for taking the time to post it Al.
