Configuring big projects

Hello everyone, I have a question that hopefully I can get an answer for. Does anyone know how to re-scale a pattern to fit a bigger projects that can fit. I'm trying to make a poker table with the poker dogs engraved on the table top with a glass put over it. I was wondering if anyone has done a big project like this, and how did you scale the pattern to fit exactly on each section of wood.
