I know that this may be redundant but after searching the threads I could nt find an answer.

I remember once reading a post on how to carve a bowl or tray using the appropiate bit from the bit set to carve the perimeter of the recess, how do you cut out the rest of it?

Lots of ways to do it, most of mine start with just a Sketch or Drawing,
that I upload into designer and let the Carving Bit do most of the work.
Then finish up with one or two the Fancy Select Bit for the trim or outer edges.
