The clutch doesn't seem to want to work properly, and I know it is probably from dust and will have to tear apart and clean out. But here is my problem.

I tried to unscrew the handle but the screw rounded out and I had to drill out the screw. Managing not to mess up the threads. I found a replacement for the screw but when I tighten it down it seems the handle doesn't engage anything.

I looked at schematics and I noticed part number 152 Clutch Spacer Washer is shown. But my machine never had this Washer. Do you think this is my problem and if so, could I use any washer that would fit?

The trick to installing the handle is the notch that must engage the shaft.

Snug the screw and rotate the handle and push, it will fall into the notch and then you tighten the screw.

Just want to mention that if your head is all the way up, it could just need the jacking screw to be primed. There is a hole in the jacking screw inside the right side of the machine to turn the shaft.

I'll give that a try this evening.

Thanks.
