Carvewright upgrade to "C" worth it?

my machine is about 2 years old now. I have basically stopped using it because its a pain in arse to keep it running smoothly.
so, is it worth the $400 or so to send it in and upgrade it to the "C"???

I didnt get that impression.. the upgrade get the carvetight... but I dont think all the other "upgrades" to the "C" are included. Perhaps I misread though.
