Exact Pattern Size

What am I missing when trying to make a pattern an exact size. I put it on the board and I want specific dimensions in each direction. I can type in one box and it will change but it also changes the other box as well, and if I type in the second box the first one changes.

At this time when you try to set the size, the designer maintains the current aspect ratio of the pattern. By dragging a corner, you can change the aspect ratio. So at this point you will have to play with it some to get what you want. We have added an item to our feature list to allow you to set whether the aspect ratio should be maintained.
