Hey guys, I hope this is relatively an easy fix.

Along time ago when my cover sensor went out, I put a toggle switch in its place. I did about 30 hours of carving and now every few seconds it keeps giving me that error again, but it can sense there is a connection of the wires. It's telling me to push enter again. I just moved the machine from a sink base stand to a table saw stand that is a bit lighter. Do you think that has something to do with it? or would my switch be going bad already?

Did you tape the bottom of the board for the brass roller?

Oh yes I always do. I learned that lesson along time ago fro
Al. I just had the error again and then it finally threw a x axis error

Thanks for using the Tape..:)

It could be that the plug for the cover is loose in the socket.

Al,
are you talking about the main harness that unplugs when you take the cover off?

Yes,

Check out the picture.

Could be a pinched Board Sensor wire too..... My Sympthom was a close cover error and Z Data was 0000 all the time.

Excellent. Thanks to all again for posting suggestions. I will check out that the cable in the morning. I was hoping not to put another toggle switch in. The gauge of those wires are not fun to work with.

*** quick update... No pinched or loose wires. I also put sandbags on my stand to see if that was it from the vibration. Any other thoughts?
