View Full Version : CW milling for hire in SF Bay Area?

Not really sure where to put this, moderators feel free to move as needed.

I'm working on a DEM to CNC project. It's a carving of the island of Kauai to be a gift for my grandmother on her 80th birthday this July. I've loaded the elevation data into the CW demo software and have a project ready. I'm looking for CW owners who do work on request and may be in the SF Bay Area. I'd like to be able to pick my wood locally and deliver it and the file to you in person and pick up when finished.

I'm in Redwood City CA, anybody near me willing to do some milling for hire?

That looks great. Can you share where you got your dem data from?

Thanks, I get elevation data for my map work from a variety of sources but this DEM came form the Seamless Server.

I'll do a quick write up on the method a little later.
