View Full Version : One Black Bear Litho completed

I finished one of the black bear lithos today.
Maple, Alder,cast acrylic, and Lacquer. I used a candelabra base again on this one.
I think I left the twigs a little to tall for my taste, but it's all glued so it's staying that way now.
I have only done 5X7's so far. Are you guys getting finer detail on your larger lithos?

Fantastic, but I need to know did you take the picture yourself? And if so, did you use a zoom lense (I hope) cuz that picture is right up on top of that big ol' bear!

LOL..... I didn't take that photo. But I have been close to many black bear. I am also one of the rare people who have been bitten by a black bear. So...... Ya, I know all about being to close.:mrgreen:

You know it struck me as a little bit odd to be using a cnc machine to make something out of sticks twigs and logs. Can it still be considered rustic style?

What a great looking project I can bearly wait to try a litho myself someday.
But for now I just make a little saw dust every now and then.

OUTSTANDING Work sir. I have a huge place in my heart for bears and wolves and I love that litho. These bear jokes are getting a little lame. As a matter of fact I can bearly contain myself...tee hee
