Z-Axis error 309 / 313

I just went through the machine again and I replaced the head termination board and the ribbon cable but the error is still there. The Z-Axis can not be controlled in any way.

Does anyone have experience with this Z-Axis error ( other causes)

have you tried removing the black cap from the z axis motor and air cleaning the z axis encoder disc? i didnt have the same number error as you but i did have z axis issues with gouging and not penetrating deep enough. my error was z axis stall 303. my z axis works good as new now. good luck.:D
