I'm having a problem getting one of my projects to carve. The workpiece is 12" x 12" x 1 5/8".

When I load the project the display informs me that the project file is based on a 12 x 12 workpiece. The CW then measures the board and comes up with 5.066" long x 12.005" wide.

However, if I simply have the CW measure the board (not in the project menu), it comes up with 12.019" long x 12.005" wide.

How can I fix this? I don't have a new piece and I've even covered this one with paper to prevent the ye from detecting defects. Is there a manual over-ride?

Sounds like you have an 12" board , and a 12" design. However, you must have said "Keep under rollers", which will subtract 7" from the length, ergo you only have 5" of board for the CW to use.

Either do not say "Keep under Rollers" or use a sled.

Ahh! I just found another thread that said the same thing! Thanks for the help!
