The answer is probably so obvious, I can't find it.
To have the pattern list shown I have to go to View and select it and it shows for the duration of the session. However, the next time I start designer, it has disappeared and I have to either go to View and select it again or click on an empty area of the toobar and select it that way..
Unless I'm mistaken, I did not have this problem with previous versions of the software. I'm running the laterst version.
So what am I doing wrong?
