Trouble here but not with my CC

I am having trouble fetching and lifting large chunks of cut trees into the back of my Tacoma these days. Some time ago I could load alot more. I'm looking around here and the web and found so many. Seeking something mechanical to help me out. I found this one at

All I have looked at are pretty $$ and/or hard to install. What do you guys use? Or am I the only one left who fetches cut trees? I hardly doubt it.

I am open for ideas.

A few years ago... 2006... I pulled 2 trees out of the woods with 2 Come a Long's and chains... Late next year the Gas Pipeline on our property is going to lay down another pipe.... I am going to have so many logs..... My Bandsaw Mill will be happy.... I want to have a Lewis Winch by then....

I waited over 2 years for the wind blow oak trees that were hung up to drop to the ground.... Some bark was gone but the wood was good.

My boat trailer in it's second life..... Easy on even easier OFF....:mrgreen:

Someday.... I will have a small Forwarding trailer.... With a Boom to move logs..... The Forwarder in picture 5 uses the tractor to supply the power to the Boom.... I would like a self contained model.... I would use it at construction sites to gather cut logs.
