Welcome Scoobie, I know the feeling you have, just want to hurry up and get it. While you are waiting you can always download the trial version of the designer program from the Carvewright web page and start to mess around with it. Also one word of advice, as some say here this forum is their extended family. It has become so for me, and I've learned oh so much just from reading it many times a day....Start to gather up some projects that have been tested and get to work. There is more to it than just sticking it in the machine and letting it carve.... Good luck and look'n forward to seeing you back here..

Jerry

I too would like to add my welcome. I don't spend a lot of time here on the forum. Between work, family and the 28 inches of ice I love to stand on not much time to spend on a computer.
I was thinking of getting rid of mine tough finances but I decided it is best to hold onto it and hope that things get better.
Make sure you post your finished projects.

That is weird, try this link and see if you can download it:

You will need it anyway because most of the time the software that ship with the machine is an old version.
Good luck and have fun carving.

Just a couple of tips, use good flat wood, rip it strate, and most of all just have fun.
Start out with small ,simple projects and work your way to more complex. That way you get a feel for what the machine does. The default on most carvings is .250. For your first project I would suggest not going that deep, just see what thae machine does first, maybe .150--.200.
