Thank you guys for responding to my questions. Can you guys maybe describe step by step how your machines act when youv'e set up for a carving and cutting of the pattern so that I can compare it with mine. And any of you that have a rock chuck, is there any special procedures as to how to install the carving and/or cutting bit. I thought this might be part of my problem as mentioned in the earlier thread. Maybe the machine needs re-calibrating, you think? It has me stumped. Anybody else that hasn't read my earlier thread can do so under the same title just a few threads ahead of this one. I will try asking LHR again I guess and see what they say.
