CarveWright purchased in 2007 has less than 20 hours of cut-time on it. Just replaced the Z-truck and chuck. Door open sensor is wired closed (always showing door closed) due to switch problems. I have a new switch now but will not be spending any more time on this machine - I've had enough. Now the 1/8" bit just broke. Probably because the Z-truck is not perfectly aligned. This can be corrected but replacing parts, constantly cleaning and making adjustments and messing up perfectly good wood is not my cup of tea anymore. Maybe 20 years ago.
For you guys that enjoy working on this stuff here's a bargain for you: $900 + shipping gets you the machine with low hours. Make a few adjustments and it should work fine (for a while).
