Font size change

I am having trouble with size change of font . when I Make a pattern the font is fine but after I down load to chip and carve the font will carve 5 times its size. Tried changing fonts sill have problem. Need tips !

Is this centerlined, rastered, or outlined font? Are you scaling to fit the board when carving on the machine by any chance?

I'm useing center line my prodject is 16 " long and useing some arch to letters. Not set to fit board. Caligrapher type fonts.
