What's your checklist for things you do/clean after a project?

1. Vacumn out the machine getting, all the nooks and little crannies and the motor.
2. clean QC
3. if a long carve, oil qc and slide rails
4. Empty muffler bag
5. Check flex cable to see if hot, if it is, lubricate.

This takes about 5-10 minutes to do. I vacumn about every half hour while carving too.

Carve Project
vacuum out as much as I can
blow out the rest-paying special attention to the rollers, bit flag and gears
wipe down front and back rollers with a wet (moist) sponge
blow just the rollers to make sure they are dry
about every 4-5 carvings I spray the rails with "slide-all" which is a dry lube
vacuum the floor
take an old cotton t shirt and wipe it down real quick
total time spent 5-10 minutes

All of these are great ideas. Blowing out after vacuuming is essential if you ask me. I bought a high pressure plugin blower from Amazon and love it. I have a front mounted vacuum and blow out with it on so that most of the dust gets drawn out.
