skipped lines

hello...this has happend to me twice now where the machine skips like 1/2 inch or so while carving a regular old pattern that i have done many times in the past. once was a month ago and once last night...i have carved many pieces in between...please help thanks!

Did it skip in the length of the board? Then Masking Tape will fix that problem with the board slipping on the Brass Roller....

Sounds as if the Brass Roller is loosing contact with the board.

Yes, so the Brass roller contact it. Any loss of contact with the brass roller will cause a jump in the board and Broken bits are common with this....
