Anybody having trouble posting pics?

Last couple of days, when trying to post a pic, I get the message that the file exceeds the Forum limit of 117kb, and that the pic I'm trying to post is 217kb. No matter what I try to do to reduce the size of the pic, I get the same message.

In fact, when I check to properties of the jpeg itself from my Desktop, it shows a size of 28kb, but when trying to upload it, it shows a size of 217kb.

Never seen this before - what could be up?

This was 74kb uploaded to Photobucket. Maybe you're not using the post image button or doing something else the forum doesn't understand.

Jerry, what are you using to change the size?

Nice looking piece Paul! Were the doors two pieces?

3 piece. Carved panel in the middle. That was a printer cabinet for a spa in Taos, El Monte Sagrado. Their corporate logo.

It automatically shrinks pic's for email and posting on web sites and it's free. Might want to give it a try!

Doc - I've been using Irfanview for a couple of years. I've posted tons of pics, it's just over the last couple of days I've had problems.

I'll try again to post here.....

Found the problem - "Manage Attachments" was defaulting to the "C" drive. The pic I wanted to post was on my desktop - it was under the size limit, but one named the same on C was over.

There I go (anybody got a good CRS logo I can use:mrgreen:)

Sorry to say, but it happens to all of us, one time or another --

Gentlemen,

What is "CRS"?

Ken, I liked your pattern. It reminds me a little of Gabby Hayes.

Funny and that is a hard thing to forget! Well the older you get the less it happens!

Remind me how this started! ;)

Doug,

You're right; I did walk into that one. But then that was the 1st and 2nd things to go. One more and I'm jumping off a bridge.

VERY nice grain matching. I realize that a picture does not tell all, BUT sure looks nice to this old woodworker!
