This should be very easy…….yet I just cant get the machine to do it !
All I want to do is cut out letters ! plain and simple no fancy edge just a simple
Edge……………..
So I start with ½’’ stock and I do let the beast know “0.500 in”
I type in the letters……..
I then OUTLINE the pattern…………
I then use the CUT-OUT TOOL and set the max pass depth to .500”
And click Flip Cut
Know I can flip the board and I can see the cut on the back side of the board

I try to cut this I get a cut about ¼’ deep and no though cut ?????????
Please help !!!!!!!

Mine will do this on some projects. Increase the board size on the set up.. but when you get to the loading on the machine it will say the size is off from the original choose proceed and it should cut through.

If your board is 1/2" thick, there is no need to set the Max. Pass depth to 1/2". The machine will measure the board thickness during setup and calculate the correct cutting depth automatically as long as you used the Cut Path Tool when you specified your outline cutouts in your mpc.

Try removing the Max. Pass setting, make sure your board is indeed at least a full 1/2" thick, run the project again. I'll bet it works fine this time.
