Registering Designer

I want to register Designer on a new laptop. Last year I registered Designer on my desktop and my old laptop. Now I can't seem to figure out how to register Designer on my new laptop. Can I have Designer on 3 machines or do I have to de-activate, somehow, Designer on my old laptop. I've tried different approaches but haven't succeeded yet. Help would be appreciated.

I think this will work. Try logging in to your users account (http://www.carvewright.com/register/).

In Designer go to help (Designer\Help\Manage License)
On the pop-up screen look for the commuter ID in the top right.
In your user account look for Enter Activation ID or Serial Number Here:
Put your new Computer ID in and hit Activate

I tried what you suggested. After entering all information I got an error message saying "No licenses available". Does this mean there is a computer limit?

You are limited to two licenses per machine. Do you have two computers registered now? If so you will need to give LHR a call to remove one. Write down the new computer ID so when you call they can remove the old ID and add the new ID.

That would be two computers per license, I had to buy another license to have the CW Designer software
on a third Computer at the same time, that way I was able to put it on my laptop to use while I was traveling.

Thanks for catching that. Sometimes I get things backwards and I always blame it on the medication. I think this is what they mean by the golden years.:D

Yes, I now have it on 2 computers. I find out how to remove it from one so I can have it on my new laptop.

I'll go back and pull up the invoice, it saw something like $100.00 or $150.00 but I'll look to make sure.

By having 2 licenses I can actually use them on Four Computers if I ever needed to.
