It's a Closely Held Secret.... If I tell you then I must... What was that line from Top Gun.... No Seriously....

I have wanted to know.... I was going to pop the cover on a computer and bolted to the wall are 3 Driver Transistors for making the Servos go forward and backwards... I was going to get the numbers off them and start there... Knowing the ability of the Servo Driver tells you something about the Servo....

Just know if you pull a servo open the magnet will self destruct. It needs to have a magnetic keeper to maintain the field or be placed in a jig and remagnetized after opening. I posted some details on this about a month ago with links to servo info.
