Carving a beveled edge

I was wondering if there is a tutorial or somewhere I can learn how to program the edge on the lid, like is in the neoclassical keepsake box project plan I purchased. I need to make some smaller jewelry boxes and can't figure out how to get that type of edge.

The jewelry boxes I am making are 11.5 X 7.250

Any help is appreciated.

I did some drawer front with the idea from some one I think Doc or bud

you can move them around and cut out
