I have a compucarve for sale. I bought it at an estate sale. It is unused in its original box. The plastic bag is still on it. It was missing the memory card and the software packet. All else is there according to the list in the owners manual I would like to get $1000 for it. Let me know....Wayne

A picture of it would be nice and posting the Serial Number is good too.

The Serial Number would let a interested party ask LHR if the machine had been registered and if any parts were sent to it under warranty.

Your location would be good too.... Shipping for 97 pounds is high.

With no memory card you couldn't look at the Cut Motor Hours.

There are a lot of refurbished machines out in the market place priced way below $1K.

Looks could be deceiving. A picture of it taken out of the box but NOT unwrapped would be good too.

We all know that there is no warranty on a used machine so if it is a true new machine is important since you are not the original owner.

There are many that will be interested so the more you disclose the quicker you will sell it. Pictures, Pictures, Pictures....

Since you are not a user, I don't believe...? You need to install the Memory Card in the unit or it will be brain dead and the LCD will only show black squares in one section of the LCD. With a memory card you use options to find the Cut Motor Data. The Card may VERY WELL be installed in the machine NOW..... Taping a plastic bag is no indication of NEW.... I knew a guy in San Diego that sold Playing Cards at the Swap Meet... Shrink Wrapped Boxes..... Previously opened and inspected for good cards then shrink wrapped again..... No it was not me... But I have 5 different sized of Shrink Film in my shop to wrap signs....

Cut Motor Hours are the key to telling if the machine is used or NEW.

A NEW machine could have anywhere from 10 minutes of carving to a few hours of carving. Every machine gets setup and cuts a board at the Factory. That is why there will be sawdust in the machine.

Pictures should include close up pictures of the 4 lower corners of the machine as a dropped in shipment machine is very COMMON selling at Sears for as little as $500.00.... I have one, my 2nd machine.... From a Sears and ONLY paid $500.00 since it was BROKEN.... It was a Z Problem, needing the Z Bundle and was not dropped... I found a Frustrated Sears Manager and I had CASH... That was a long time ago when Everybody took the machines back to Sears because the COULD....

More pictures the faster it will sell.
