OK, so let's hear it from all you senior members... who has the longest cut time recorded on their machines? I am not talking about TOTAL cut time between multiple machines. I mean which single machine has the longest cut time that appears on the control panel?

Be honest now!

No cheating!

Anyone past 1,000 hours? 2,000????

Fred,

Way to call everyone out!!!!

I know of a few customers who have surpassed 800 hours on one machine. Maybe one or two of them will speak up...

Also, should we have them show pics, so we know they ain't messing with us?

Last time I checked, Al Who had over 800 hours on one machine - I bet it's much higher than that now

When I last spoke with "Fiddlemakermills", he had about 700 hours on his machine, with the original QC.

And that is probably just this month!

And ya.. i know the math doesnt work out.. but I have to belive that Ken has figured out a way to get more than 24 hours in a day. If anyone could.. it would be him.

At the shop here, I did a single carve that took 72 hours straight, no stopping the machine. We'll call it the ultra-super-high-quality-optimal setting. No cleanup was required. We take it with us to the shows.

Yes - I want to see a pic of that!

I did a 15.5 hour carve, spilt between 2 days (paused overnight), and I USED to think that was pretty impressive!

WOW! 72 hours times a nominal $15.00hour and that sucker is worth $1050.00

That's an awful long carve time

And i thought my 11 1/2 hour carve was bad..

72 hours would drive my neighbors crazy....

that big. i think they were fiddling with the software code to get a super duper ultimate no fuzzy setting.

Agreed... but are there many of us out there that would prefer and extra 60 hours in carve time to avoid an hour or two of detail sanding? It's nice an an exersize to show it can be done... but doesnt sound like usable feature.
