Can anyone tell me why my machine is carving deeper at the end of a carving then the begining of the carving. The carving starts at the exact depth, then over about 16" it carves 3/16" deeper. The carving bit is secure and tight.

If you are confident the board is not tipping up towards the end I would search for threads on "Z encoder"

do you have the extra 3.5" on each side of the board?

Could you post your design (MPC)? Is the depth change gradual or all at once?
