Hello,

Just letting you know the Tips & Tricks Oct 2009 Issue 25, "Pattern Editor - Episode III" has been posted at both the CarveWright website (http://www.carvewright.com/cms/tips-and-tricks) and the CarveBuddy website (http://www.carvebuddy.com/learning_center.html). It is the third tutorial on the Pattern Editor and describes the newest, updated features. A "must read" for Pattern Editor owners!

Special thanks to Jeff Birt for providing this excellent tutorial! Jeff is not only a programmer, educator, and CarveWright machine owner, he is also one of the Moderators on this forum as you probably know!

Check out Jeff's website - he has a really cool add-on for our machines...a Backlit LCD Display!
You can see it at http://soigeneris.com/soigenerisprd.aspx

Sorry Jim,

I think you need to be running the most current version for all the new features to show up. I don't recall whether 1.152 had the upper/lower feature for the magic wand, but I do know that 1.153 (current version) does.

After you perform the update to 1.153, all should be well.

You may have to right click on your tool bar area and click 'Customize'. That will let you add other items to your tool bars.
