When trying to carve or measure a board I get x axis stall error 228 and board will not move.

When trying to carve or measure a board I get x axis stall error 228 and board will not move.

Things to check:
1) Board not flat (uneven surface).
2) Board binding on the "Sliding Plate" on the side away from the keyboard.
(You should always leave a small amount of play)
Not all boards have both sides that are parallel.
3) Roller pressure too tight.
