so why is it LHR charges top dollar on their shipping rates, yet chooses the worst possible service. it is gonna be a week before i get my flexshaft. for the price of the shipping they charge, it should be a 2 or 3 day maximum, very maximum.

I have been very happy with all the LHR support and parts, but I agree the shipping is somewhat lacking. Being in Florida, I generally just end up paying through the nose for 2 day shipping, they do give you the option.

I wouldn't do it for just restock parts but every time I need something right now, it's because I have a machine down and am NOT willing to wait 5 days or so for the part to get here.

Oh well, my wife tells me I am too impatient :)

i guess i should feel lucky, it takes the same amount of time from texas to florida as it does from texas to maine. thats screwed up.

They charge handling in that shipping cost.

I called, ordered a part and the shipping was like 17.00. Then I found out the part was under warranty so the person on the phone canceled the order, transferred me and the free part was sent no problem.

The regular USPS postage was marked 2.00 on the package, so the handling charge for the part I would have ordered was 15.00!
