centering the head?

Hi All
Is there a way by the key pad to center the head to change the bit? If not do you just move it by hand? I just don't like forcing things.

It should go there automatically. It will tell you what bit it wants, then when you hit enter, the z-truck should move to the center. Once you have inserted the new bit, you hit enter again and it goes thru the normal bit checking routines and you should be on your way.

It does. but after a job It parks on the keyboard side, thats when I would like to remove the bit, turn off, unplug, and vaccum out.

Once the power is off the head should move by hand easily.

Chief38 is right,

But way a few seconds before moving the carving head by hand,
and there will be no Motor resistance. :wink:
