I still can't get the quick release chuck loose to get it repaired. Chris and company sent me a new replacement chuck, but with it secured with lock-tite on the threads, I can't get it loose. The folks sent me a wrench to hold the chuck, and I ground down an old screwdriver square to fit to flex shaft connection. I've tried heating the chuck to break it loose, but had no luck.
I called Chris back and he advised me to return the machine to them so they can go over it and make sure everything is working properly. I haven't gotten to use the machine much so far because of the little aggravating issues, but I have to tell everyone the customer service has been outstanding! Chris, Eric and Yenne have worked with me to resolve the problems in a professional manner. Unfortunately, it has come down to something I can't fix here. I look forward to getting it back and making projects!
