Just a comment from somebody that has one and uses it often!

If you have the room to do so, make a infeed and outfeed table for it. I just used level tables with tempered hardboard that I keep waxed and slick... I never get snipe with both the tables in place. Sometimes when not using the tables. BE SURE the tables are level to your machine.

If you are rich you could use rollers! It is a wonderful product in my opinion. Blade life could be better though. I DOES make ALOT of noise but works great!

Grizzly makes adjustable rollers. I use them on my carvewright, I built a sort of adjustable sled for the bottom of the machine with adjustable infeed and outfeed. They are awesome, they cost about 35 a piece but well worth it.

Lol I have 2 planers now! A Dewalt, but the other model and a Rigid. The only thing stand between me and a new CW is.................my wife!!! Since I have 2 table saws and 2 radial arm saws and 2 jointer and 2 band saws I guess I need to sell 1 table saw and radial arm and jointer and a band saw! I may be able to have 2 working CW!

BAH! Now I am the one that's jealous...I sure wish I had room for a jointer. There is only so much you can do to square boards with a planer and table saw.

Since Florida has pine, pine or pine for sale, all I can do is get my brother to bring me loads of rough cut lumber from Georgia on his trips down.

Oh well, we make do with what we have...

Long story for have 2 of each, I even had a 4896 Shopbot and still have a K2 2514 CNC. I tried to help a friend by going in business with him making custom doors. My new table saw is a hybrid cabinet saw still in the crate as is the 8" jointer. Long story short he flaked on me and I went on other things, sold the SB bought my soda wagon . Took my 30' by 40' put a wall in the center to make the front a garage for my 67 Firebird.

So when time allows I will sell my old tools set up the new and learn how to use the K2!

Lol no this one cost me a bundle to restore! My wife parents bought it brand new in 67 and when they passed away we got it. We kept it original and it has only 79,000 mile.

I would love to get another 67 Chevy short bed pick up like I had as a teen!

Lol the funny thing is I have the same unit too bad you don't want to ship it then I would have 2 of the same! I do have 2 different units though the other is a Rigid!
