I was needing some knobs for a dovetail jig and thought this might be a good project for the carvewright. This is my first try at making patterns, so be kind to me. This is a good project for a beginner (because it was definitely designed by a beginner). The project is set up to cut out from a 11x6 inch board, but I used a larger one so that I would not get too close to edges so as not to break the cutting bit. I believe you could use the 11x6 board without any problems though. Again this is version 1.0 so play with it and improve to your heart's content. The center recess and hole are made for a 5/16" x 3/8 pronged tee nut. If you need a larger tee nut then you have to enlarge the center hole and recess to fit. I have found that the knobs work better if they are made from hardwood. They do not seem to chip or split. Again, this is mostly to give someone a start, not to be professional. So have fun!
