Train
Making sign header for our new Depot in park for small steam park train for the kids.

Sent John at WWW.carvemore.com (http://www.carvemore.com) pictures and drawings of train and cars to make a pattern for me and I think he did a great job. He has listed all ptns for sale for one prodject price ( I think to cheep for his time )

This will be the header for a list of donors .
The top trim and bottom rail are Cherry, background Maple and Steam Train Walnut.
Clear coat no stain.

The board is 74" x 12 , the steamer is 12 x 8 , this is about as small as you want to carve because of the small detail . you can see the ribets that hold it together.

will post more when done

Thank for Your work John

Know Train buffs will enjoy

Old Salt,

That is a really neat project. I like the track as the bottom frame member, the choice of wood for contrast, and you seem to have done a great job in putting it all together!

WOW...OUTSTANDING. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I am and I am a train buff. I now see why people have multiple machines. My to do list is getting longer all the time.
