the other night it was raining like heck and I did not want to get soaked running over to the other shop to crosscut a sm board I set it to cut at 10 inches but go something like 7 after the cut. Used tape on everything. Any ideas would be helpful

What end of the board did it measure from for the cut?

When I first got my CC, I was seeing what all of the features were and when I did a cross cut it seems that the input for what I wanted to cut was kind of bassakwards to what I was wanting to do...
