Finished carving a lithopane of 268 foot Snoqualmie Falls in Snoqualmie, WA. I live about 300 yards behind the trees in the center of the photo. The last photo is a lithopane light box I made with a smaller (8" x 10") carving of the falls in bone colored Corian.

Material: white 1/4" Corian, 18" x 12".
Carving time: 8 hours 23 minutes at Optimal setting.

I am thrilled with the results.

Thanks, all, for the kind words.

I hate to burst your bubble but the frame on the window hanging lithopane is a $5 special from Michaels. The light box is a $10 shadow box from Michaels.

The shadow box is *x10. I used about 9 feet of LED rope. It lights up the lithopane brightly and evenly.
