The machine will display black boxes in the upper or lower display if the card is not inserted as the card has the operating system on it... The Machine is brain dead without the card.

As for the error.... I would reformat the card and load back the software then let us know what happened. This looks like a bad load on the card.

You can also get this error if you try to do a cut out and it measures the wood and it is TOO Thick....

I will try to reformat the card again but I put my card in my uncles machine and it worked fine.
