Anyone getting check cut motor warning. My machine started doing that a while back and on the start of every carve the LCD would bring up check cut motor warning and you just clicked continue and it will start carving as usual. My problem ended up being rpm sensor in the cut motor. It is just a chip in the cut motor and is easily replaced.

If you are having the same problem. Here is how to check it.

1. In the options menu go to sensor check

2. Tab down to Cut Sensor

3.Open the clear lid and turn the chuck and watch the reading on the LCD. It should move off of 0 and go to 1 maybe 2. The value is 1 per cut motor revolution. So turning the chuck by hand the numbers won't go very high. If it stays at 0 good chance you have found your problem.

This sensor monitors the RPM of the cutting motor and feeds that information back into the control logic.

Thanks that is exactly what mine has been doing for about 6 months now. It started off were it would speed up so fast it would blow muffler off. Ive just got use to pushing enter and not messing with it but that would be great if that fixed it up.Thanks
