Cut out of 1/8 inch baltic birch with the 1/16th cutting bit - lots of scroll saw patterns out there that are very easy to convert for use with your CarveWright machine....

The "Halloween Treats" sign is about 14x11 - the top piece was about a 15 minute carve and the back piece was less than 4.... like anything else with the scroll saw patterns your cut time is really going to depend on the detail. I put 6 designs on a 14x48 board and the cut time was 47 minutes.

Thanks for taking the time to share what your doing and also providing a easy way for others to try some of these. I think some of these are really going to be fun. Also not much cut time on machine for what you get.

I honestly have thousands of scroll saw patterns - I just haven't had time to convert them. You can search "scroll saw patterns" on Google and get 3,640,000 images.

My process is as follows.... might be kinda flawed but it is the way that I got it to work. Import your images into the Pattern Editor, use the smooth tool (max it out) then delete the green area around the image (seems to offset it enough to allow for the cutting bit. Save the image into the pattern file. Go to Designer, pull the image out on a board, select all of it, outline pattern - if all is good the handsaw will light up and your good to go. If the saw does not light up go back to the Pattern Editor and repeat until the saw lights up. I hope that helps. Just a note, I have no other software that I use with my CarveWright Software. For what those things cost I can buy ALOOOOOTTTTT of wood.
