MY WONDERFUL MACHINE, THAT I LOVE TO MUCH TO BEAT WITH A SLEDGE IS SICK AND I NEED HELP PLEASE.

Tonite i loaded a 17 x 8 inch red oak board and proceded to measure it. The
CARVEWRIGHT MACHINE told me it was 16.275 long the next time it was 16.877
and the last time it was 16.75 inches. I know this piece of wood is 17.00 inches long. I have 12 pieces just alike.

Can anyone tell me why this is hapening ?

Also i have read about people changing their z-bundle.
Do i need to ? and why?
Does anyone else have trouble with bits breaking ? { new ones }

Masking Tape on the bottom side which touches the brass roller, will help prevent the board slipping. Also check the Head pressure with a set of bathroom scale, should be around 80-85lb's
Good Luck

Beat you to it Al :p
