Put in board to be carved. The machine goes through all steps. Gets to carving pattern and it sits there, No error no nothing.
I repeat this 4 times and on the forth try everything works fine.
Anyone know anything about this?

Does it do that on only one mpc - or on any/all mpc's you run?

It has only done this on this MPC

Is the project big?

Is it a carving pattern, or a lot of vectors (like centerline)?

Kind of what I thought;). Is is possible to post the mpc or does it have commercial patterns on it that would prevent that?

It is a large carving. I got it from the gallery board. This is it below.

It would also be helpful if Wilbur let everyone know what his software version is. That would make testing easier.

Well C130s are kind of slow. They were new when I was in the Air Force in the late 50's (that is the 1950's not the 1850's). I know this does not help, but I couldn't help myself.

Man, I don't know what to say... it worked for me

If I need to re-post in a different of better format please let me know

Just FYI, this is a very specific type of C-130, an EC-130H COMPASS CALL jamming bird-- we only have a few of these and they are all stationed out of Davis-Monthan AFB Arizona

Good luck, please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help,
Lawrence

I was able to do the carving and it turned out good. I will;; post it as soon as I am finished.

It took four tries and went to carving on the 4th try.

I don't think there are anything wrong with the format. I think it is on my end.

Just never had this happen and wondered what it could be.

I was in SAC and never was around any cargo craft. 58/62

Maybe you can help. What is the background behind the C=130.

My older Bit Adapter with the 1/16" carving bit comes out the back side of the adapter 1/8" and the new Adapter with the 1/16" comes out 5/16" is this going to effect anything. or dose it matter in anyway??

My old one is still doing ok.

Before putting the new one to work I just wanted some feed back.

Thank you,
Robert

It should not make any difference. When the machine goes through the bit check sequence it will measure the bit length for the project and you should be good to go..
