Hey guys:

I am fairly new to this and have a question regarding
carving a 1/4 inch board.

Do I have to put it on a carrier if I am carving 1/4 inch
deep. I have a couple of scroll saw patterns that I would
like to carve with the compucarve.

Thanks
Bobtom

From the Software Manual:

Due to Machine restrictions, the minimum size board is 6 inches (15.25 cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.5 cm) wide
by one half inch (1.25 cm) thick. The maximum board size is 144 inches (366 cm) long by 15 inches (38 cm)
wide by 5 inches (12.5 cm) thick. Note: Smaller board dimensions can be applied but the board will have to be
placed in a jig or Cut from a larger board when complete.

You're alot of help, Doc:cool:

14.5" is about the max for me - you need some room so the board doesn't jam.

Thanks Guys.

I always feel better safe than sorry.
Maybe I should read more often, I just
happened to be here and thought I would
ask.

Thanks again
