fatel error

I recently downloaded the new software but when I went to run my machine
The screens top row was just black boxes. When I checked the card it said fatel error 11. I dont know if its related or not. any clues

The only thing I can think of is that you need to re-format your memory card with the new software/firmware. Give that a try

From what I remember the 1.152 version of designer software is not backward compatible with older versions of firmware. May want to try flashing the memory card with the newest 1.152 firmware if you have not done so already as well as formating the memory card as Mike suggested.

Black boxes in LCD = No card plugged into the machine or like said above... The Card is not talking.... Needs the new Firmware.....

just reflashed and formatted. no progress When I checked the card It now has fatel error 2 and 3 Top row still blacked out

Replace the flat cable from the computer to the keypad. Replaced mine and now I can use the #1 & #2 buttons and I can select up or down using the arrows. Make up the cable yourself, an electronic supply store can sell you cable and connectors for around $10. Just make sure you get the connectors facing the right way. Lay your old one out and check the connectors as you build the new one.
