Spline not working

I have version 1.152 and I can't get Spline to work. It puts in red and yellow dots (nor purple dots). The white lines connecting the dots never appear. If I make a region by connectoing the last point to the first, it lets me select Cut Path and allows me to select Flip Cut, but nothing happens after. It doesn'y cut. Is anyone else having this problem?

Try selecting the spline tool from the toolbar. I think you used the bezier tool... and i think it isn't supposed to be there... it is still in development if I understood correctly.

Your suggestion of selecting Spline from the tool bar worked. Thanks. There is definitely a bug. There are three splines indicated under Drawing. The first Spline tool is grayed out. The second is also marked Spline tool. That is the one that I used. The third is labeled Smart Spine tool. It seems to respond the same as the Spline Tool aove it.
