Head Pressure, PLEASE HELP

I am setting up my brand new Compucarve, and the best head pressure I can get on my scale is 62 lbs.

I followede all the directions, cleaned and lubricated the Guide rods and rails with no improvement.

It says I need 75- 85 lbs pressure. Any suggestions? Should I take it back?

Did you raise and lower the head several times to disperse the lube in the guide posts?

Also, when you crank the head down, go two or three clicks beyond, the keypad will change to let you know it's down all the way.

Yes I had run it up and down about 30 times....also, If it turned it about 15-18 clicks it would eventually get uo to 75 lbs. I finally got through to support. He had me put a couple of washers from elsewhere on the machine under the crank handle to compress the spring further. Now I get a pretty consistent 80 with two full turns after the first click. I think that will work.
