What does this mean?

Large drills not scaled

You have placed a drill hole in the project that is larger than the size of the bit you are drilling with (so the machine will take a spiral cut to make the hole), and you told the machine to scale your project to the width/length when you loaded your board.

That hole will not be scaled like the rest of the patterns on the board.

The assumption is when you ask for a hole of a certain size, you should always get that size hole.

It is just a warning.

Thank you for the help.

The hole I want is not in the center of the work peace.

Are you saying that in this case not to choose scale project to the width/length ?

yes, do not scale, instead "keep actual size" by loading a slightly larger board than your design.

Also without using a sled you will need the additional 7 inches to stay under the rollers.

For drill operations, it does not matter. If you load a board that is smaller than the virtual board in Designer, the machine will still drill the hole at the correct size and location, even if the project is scaled at the machine.

Typically, you do not want the machine to scale a project since the results can be somewhat unpredictable. Either way, drill operations are unaffected by scaling.
